The Ulthera treatment is a non-surgical procedure approved by Health Canada that has been offered at the Clinique Laflamme for some time. It uses ultrasound technology to create a lifting effect on the face, neck, eyelids, and eyebrows, tightening the face and redefining its contours. It requires no recovery time, has very few side effects, and doesn’t cause any discomfort.
This technique calls for a careful evaluation to determine which tissues require ultrasound treatment. Dr. Laflamme has used her expertise and experience to tailor this technique to your needs by working on different layers of the skin: the superficial dermis, deep dermis, fat cells under the dermis, and superficial musculoaponeurotic system, or SMAS (the deep structure that supports the face and neck).
This treatment can also be personalized; in other words, Dr. Laflamme will present you with different possible treatment plans based on your needs, morphology, expectations, and so on. She’ll accompany you throughout the entire process.
