Radiofrequency Pixel Roller
Radiofrequency is an energy that is used in medical aesthetics to generate heat on the skin, similar to laser or ultrasound energy. Regardless of the type of energy used, companies have developed high-performance devices that allow us to push our limits even further.
The Roller Pixel RF is an ultra recent generation of unipolar radiofrequency. It is a profractionated unipolar radiofrequency, often used for the treatment of cellulite. It allows for micro-perforations to be made with the radiofrequency, as would be done with "micro-needling" or a laser. The energy delivered will allow the skin to regenerate, shorten and reduce its imperfections.
The Roller Pixel RF uses a roller that deploys the radiofrequency energy in motion, making treatments shorter. For smaller areas, a round tip delivers the energy in a stationary fashion.
Venus VIVA
The Venus Viva is a beautiful technology distributed by Venus Concept. This device distributes a protracted radiofrequency. Indeed, the energy is distributed by micro-perforations that break the epidermis and therefore allows us to see a micro-perforation on the surface of the skin.
We use this device when we want to make nanometric destruction at the skin level, with a minimum of convalescence. The parameters of this device are precise enough to allow us to destroy the cells of the upper layer of the skin without causing a long convalescence.
If the patient can afford more convalescence, we will opt instead for the energy of the CO2 laser or the Erbium Yag. However, people with darker skins will be best treated with radiofrequency, as lasers are more likely to cause hyperpigmentation, thus altering the effectiveness of the treatment.
The effects of Venus Viva are multiple. This treatment works on the skin of the face and body, restoring tone, reducing wrinkles and fine lines as well as the appearance of stretch marks.
Accent Prime Radiofrequency
Alma Laser's Accent Prime allows the deployment of radio frequencies on the body and face. Its two handpieces of different sizes allow to adapt to the area to be treated. On this same device, different handpieces are available and allow to couple the ultrasound energy to the radiofrequency energy. This is particularly necessary on the body and we also use it very frequently on the face.
